Safeguarding and wellbeing policy

Purpose

Every adult at [School name] knows how to pass on a concern about a student the same day, and students know whom they can tell.

Route

A concern is told to the lead the same day, written in the log, and reviewed until there is an outcome. If the concern is about the lead, it goes to the principal or the board member. Staff do not investigate alone.

Wellbeing

Attendance drops, repeated distress, and online harm are concerns, not only visible injuries. The clinic, transport, and visitors are part of the same duty of care.

Update the names and the external referral routes from the current official guidance before publishing.
